Lately, I've been having issues with the memory feature on the AI. It seems to refuse to save anything and just says it's not able to, especially after what I think was a recent update. Has anyone else had this problem, and what can I do to fix it?

I think paying for a subscription might help because my AI remembers details from previous chats and uses them effectively in new conversations. It’s like it has a better grasp of context.
I've noticed the memory function can be pretty hit or miss. It worked for a few entries for me, like remembering my age, but then it just stopped. After deleting all my memories and context windows, it started working again for a bit, but now it's not suggesting any new memories. However, it does remember past chats better, which might be where we regain some context.
You can try going into the settings to manually edit the memories. I recommend filling it up with the stuff you want to ensure it doesn’t get filled with random info. Once it’s full, it’ll let you know, and at least for me, it prevents it from adding unnecessary info.
Have you checked the custom instructions section? You can specify what you want the AI to remember. If the memory section is full, just delete some old memories to make space.
Make sure you're prompting it directly to save things! Just saying, 'remember this' isn’t always enough. Try something like, 'Please add this to memory and show me what you're saving for approval.' Having a clear directive seems to help avoid confusion.
