How can I make my 4:3 Sharp TV display full screen without black bars?

I'm using a Sharp Aquos TV with a 4:3 aspect ratio, but when I watch content, it leaves me with annoying black bars on the sides. I've looked for stretch options like 'wide' or 'full', but I can't find them anywhere. Is there any way to make the image fill the entire screen?

It sounds like you're dealing with the aspect ratio settings. A lot of TVs have a zoom or video adjustment feature, but it can vary by model. You might want to check your user manual for any video zoom options. Sometimes they're hidden in the settings menu!

Yeah, 4:3 refers to the aspect ratio, which is why you're seeing black bars. Just keep looking in the settings; every model can be a bit different!
