I'm currently looking to upgrade my gaming setup, moving from 1080p 144Hz to 1440p with a refresh rate of either 144 or 240Hz. I've picked the 7800 over the more affordable 7700 to keep my options open for higher performance. I want to include an AIO cooler, but I'm wondering if there's a more budget-friendly option that still performs well. Any suggestions?

I’ve actually modified your build with some great options—better CPU, GPU, and PSU, while keeping the price around the same. Check out my PCPartPicker list! It could really give you a performance boost without breaking the bank. [Link Here]
I swapped out some components for more budget-friendly alternatives while upgrading to a GPU like the 5070. This brought the total cost down by a few hundred bucks. The real trade-off would be on the CPU, but even if you consider the 9700X route, it's still more affordable than your current choice. Here’s the link for my revised build! [Link Here]
Consider switching to a 7500F or 7600 CPU; they won’t hinder the performance of your 7800XT at all. This could save you some cash without compromising gaming performance.
What’s wrong with the 9700? Since I'm at 1080p now, I feel my CPU bottlenecks more than my GPU, especially with a 5070 in play.
