How can I manage Microsoft Patch Supersedence more efficiently?

Hey everyone! I'm really frustrated with the long lists of missing patches I keep receiving from our Security Team. It's such a hassle trying to figure out exactly which patches I need to install to keep our server compliant. Is there a tool or method that can help simplify this process? I don't mind patching; I'm just tired of dealing with our Security Team's inefficiencies. Instead of installing a bunch of rollups, I'd much rather handle it with a single installation if possible. Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you thought about using WSUS? You can approve the necessary patches, and the OS will handle the supersedence automatically, which means you only end up installing the latest updates. It really simplifies the whole process!

We actually use Altiris in our setup, and unfortunately, it doesn't take supersedence into account.
