Hey everyone,
I'm reaching out because I've been having some issues with anxiety and staying focused during my software development tasks. I'm not a total newbie—I've got a bit of experience under my belt—but I find that tight deadlines really ramp up my anxiety. Sometimes, when I get stuck on a problem, I spend way too long trying to solve it, which only makes things worse and leaves me feeling down. I worry that others might see me as incompetent, and that adds to the stress.
I'd love to hear your tips on how to manage these feelings better. How can I start thinking like a senior developer? And what strategies can I use to stay focused and productive?
Thanks a lot!

One tip is to create a checklist of what your project requires, and keep it handy to refocus when you start to drift. Also, don’t underestimate the power of taking a break when you feel overwhelmed—it can really help clear your mind!
I totally agree! Checklists are game-changers for me. They help break tasks into manageable pieces, which eases the feeling of being overwhelmed. If you’re facing a complex task, tackle it step by step—like just starting with one parameter for an API call before moving on to the next.
Thanks for the suggestion!
