How Can I Overcome Anxiety as a Junior Front-End Developer?

Hey everyone! I just landed my first job as a front-end developer after a couple of years of transitioning from being a translator. This is a whole new experience for me since I mainly worked with a CMS system and a templating language, and I'm still getting the hang of things. While I love the websites I've built as a hobby, I'm feeling anxious about creating projects for actual clients. The team is really supportive, which helps, but I want to hear from others: how did you manage your anxiety and make it through your first month in a dev job?

Good documentation is key! Make sure to ask about any specific build standards your team follows. If it’s mostly informal, consider starting a document yourself to help everyone onboard. It’s okay to ask questions but try to figure things out first – it shows you're proactive. When you do ask, explain what you’ve explored and share your thought process. And don't hesitate to speak up if something seems inefficient—just back it up with reasons why you think a change could help!

I get that! I always try fixing things myself first and jot down my questions. Still, I feel clueless when it comes to styling sometimes. It’s like, isn’t CSS supposed to be simple? Why do I struggle so much?!
