Hey everyone! I need some help with a weird issue on my iPhone. I tried to offload the Instagram app, but now it just shows up as an icon with a white grid and I can't open it. It's not in my 'iPhone Storage' anymore, and whenever I go to delete it from my home screen, it just vanishes temporarily. But as soon as I check the App Store, it just says 'Open' instead of 'Install.' Even after restarting my phone, the app keeps coming back. I'm trying to figure out how to remove it entirely so I can reinstall it later. Any ideas? Thanks!

Are you sure you’re running a version newer than 14.8.1? It sounds like that might be too old to manage apps properly unless your phone is jailbroken. Just double-check that for the best options!
Have you tried just restarting your phone? Sometimes that helps clear out glitches with stubborn apps.
You should try deleting it through the 'Settings' app. Go to 'iPhone Storage' and swipe left on the app if it’s showing up there. That usually does the trick!
I mentioned in my original post that it's not listed there anymore, so that option isn't available. Any other suggestions?

I did restart my phone, but like I said in my post, it just returns to my home screen after that. It's really frustrating!
