How can I persuade my mom to help me get a better PC?

I'm having a hard time convincing my mom to buy me a better computer. She got me an all-in-one PC, which I'm grateful for, but it's really lagging and struggling due to its Intel CPU. Whenever I ask her for a better one, she always finds excuses like saying she'll consider it next month, but then she conveniently forgets about it. I'm really looking for advice on how to change her mind and get the PC I need for gaming and other tasks.

If you're old enough to work, getting a part-time job could be a great way to save up for your own PC. I did the same, and it felt awesome to buy what I wanted with my own money!

It sounds like getting a job might be your best bet. Maybe your mom is under financial pressure, and contributing your own money could change how she views the situation. Plus, there's something really rewarding about buying your own stuff!

Totally agree! It's definitely a good feeling when you earn money to buy something you really want. It makes you appreciate it more.

It might help to assess what parts your current computer has. Sometimes, rather than getting an entirely new setup, upgrading specific components could be a more affordable option for your mom.

Yeah, like if you could just upgrade the GPU instead of the whole PC, that might ease the budget tension!

Don't forget to consider your mom's perspective. If finances are tight, this might be tough for her. Maybe suggesting a plan where you could help out more around the house in exchange for occasional PC funds could work!

Have you thought about picking out a computer that fits your mom's budget? If she sees you're willing to compromise, she might be more open to helping you out. Also, maybe suggest some upgrades instead of a whole new PC if your current specs are okay.
