How Can I Prevent My i9-14900k from Overheating?

I recently built a new PC with an RTX 5070ti and an i9-14900k, paired with an ASUS TUF b760-plus wifi d5 motherboard. My issue is that when I started gaming, the CPU temperature shot up to 100°C (212°F). I tweaked some settings in the BIOS, specifically turning off 'Turbo Mode,' which brought the temp down to around 45°C (113°F) for the same game. I've heard that Turbo Mode is important for gaming performance, but I can't have it on if it causes such high temperatures. Is there a better solution than just keeping Turbo off? Any advice on getting my PC running normally would be appreciated, as I'm not very experienced with this stuff. Thanks!

Just a heads up, when in Turbo Mode, your i9-14900k can consume up to 330 watts, which isn’t uncommon for that chip. High temps and throttling can still happen even with a 360mm AIO cooler. Have you thought about other cooling solutions or optimizing your case airflow?

To avoid thermal throttling, you should definitely consider upgrading your CPU cooler. What cooler are you using right now? It might not be enough to handle the i9-14900k's demands under load.

I'm using a CORSAIR H150i Elite LCD XT 360mm cooler.
