I'm running Windows 11 Pro with multiple instances of `chrome.exe` open at the same time. I can disable Efficiency mode for each process individually through the Task Manager, but that's really tedious! I want to know if there's a way to:
* Turn off Efficiency mode for all open `chrome.exe` processes in one go.
* Stop Windows from automatically activating Efficiency mode on new Chrome processes.
I've tried right-clicking and toggling Efficiency mode off, but it's a one-by-one process. I haven't found any option in Task Manager or Chrome settings to apply it to all processes at once or make any global adjustments. Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you thought about switching to the Brave browser? It has built-in ad blocking and can handle multiple tabs better without efficiency hiccups. Just uninstall Chrome and give Brave a shot. You won't regret it!
You can use a tool called Process Lasso to handle this. Just go to Options > CPU > Efficiency Modes, set a rule for `chrome.exe` to turn off Efficiency mode, and it will apply to all instances. Plus, you can set Process Lasso to start automatically with Windows under Options > General > Configure Startup, which will help catch any new Chrome processes too!
If you prefer not to use third-party software, consider making a habit of closing tabs after you’re done with them. Also, Chrome has a feature that puts idle tabs into Efficiency mode, so just keep your tabs in check to avoid that situation altogether.
