How can I reclaim the missing space on my SSD after a fresh Windows install?

Asked By TechieNinja42 On

I recently did a fresh install of Windows on my Samsung SSD 990 EVO, which is supposed to have 1.8 TB available. However, my C: drive only shows 222 GB of usable space, and I've noticed a 100 MB FAT32 partition and another 604 MB NTFS partition. I'm confused about how to access the rest of the 1.8 TB and make it usable on my C: drive. Any help would be appreciated!

It sounds like you need to adjust your partitions. You'll want to pull that 1.8 TB space to the right side of the 200 GB partition. Just be sure there's no other partition in between, or it won't work. After that, merging the partitions should get you sorted!

Oh thank you! How can I access the area to edit those partitions? I haven't been able to find that section.
