How Can I Recover Missing Photos from My Lost External Disk?

Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a bind since I lost my external disk a couple of months ago, and unfortunately, it didn't have any backups for my photos from January 25 to August 25. I'm really hoping you can help me figure out how to recover them.

I'm particularly focusing on getting photos from my SD card, but I would also consider any images from my phone if that works. Here's what I know so far:

- I have a Kingston 32GB SD card. From the recovery programs I've tried, they only pull photos from September onwards.
- I checked Google Photos, which only retrieved images from the last 60 days, nothing older.
- I also have my catalog in Lightroom, but since I imported those photos from my external disk, I can't export them because the files seem to be missing.

I've tried a few free recovery software options, but I'm open to paying for something that can really help. I do have a SanDisk recovery software file; however, it requires me to connect the missing hardware to work.

Thanks a ton for any advice or recommendations you might have!

I’ve had success with EaseUS Data Recovery for retrieving lost files. They offer a free trial, but it might not recover everything you need. If you want to recover your photos, it’s definitely worth giving it a shot!

Thanks for the tip! If it works out, I’m definitely willing to pay for the full version, so here's hoping!
