Hey everyone, I recently had my phone stolen on a BMTC bus in Bengaluru. I've already reported it to the police, and now they need the IMEI number to continue the investigation. Unfortunately, I'm in a bit of a bind because:
- I lost the phone box and can't find the IMEI anywhere.
- I can't view the IMEI in Google device settings.
- The Airtel store told me they can't access my IMEI and suggested I go to the head office.
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Can Airtel's backend provide the last-used IMEI if I escalate this with a police letter? Are there other legitimate methods to get my IMEI? Any help would be really appreciated! Thanks!

Glad you figured it out! For anyone else with the same problem, you can use the link provided to find your IMEI through your Google account. Just log in, click on your device, and check the settings. It's super helpful!
Unfortunately, the only party that might have your IMEI is your carrier. If they won't cooperate, you're likely out of luck. In some places, you can check it in your online account, but it really depends on your service provider in your area.
