How can I revert my Windows key to function normally instead of as a Fn key?

I've been having this frustrating issue where pressing the Windows key brings up an icon for the Fn key instead of the normal Windows functions. I don't know how I enabled this, but I need to switch it back. Sometimes the Windows + G shortcut for the game bar works, but other times I have to use Fn + G instead. I have some background in IT from my studies, but I can't seem to figure this one out. Any tips on how to resolve this?

Have you checked if your keyboard has a specific "WinLock" key? Some models have it to toggle the Windows key functionality. If you don't see one, you might need to look into your keyboard settings in the Control Panel or any special software provided by your keyboard manufacturer. Also, some laptops have a function key that controls these types of settings, so give that a try!

It sounds like you might be dealing with a setting that disables the Windows key. Check the settings in your device or keyboard software. If you're using a third-party keyboard, there might be software that came with it where you can adjust those function settings. Sometimes a simple reboot after changing settings can help, too.
