How Can I Set a UPS to Charge During Specific Hours?

Hey everyone! I really need some advice on choosing a UPS. I had a bad experience with my old one making too much noise while charging, and I'm pretty sensitive to sounds. I'm looking for a UPS that I can program to charge between 1AM and 6AM, since I'm not in the room during those hours. If it needs to charge, I want it to do so quietly while I'm not there. Any suggestions on models or features that might allow for this? Thanks!

You’re fine sleeping with a UPS in the room, right? I had a TZ670 and could hear it from the other end of the hall! Had to build a soundproof box to keep it quiet.

Yeah, that’s why I need something quiet! I can't stand noise when I'm trying to sleep.

What kind of setup is this for? Is it for your office or a home lab?

It’s for my office. I had the BR1500G before.

Honestly, I’m not sure if you’ll find a UPS that has that specific feature. I haven’t come across one that allows you to program charging times. However, there are quite a few silent options out there. Many battery tenders are silent, so maybe look into newer UPS models. I’ve had good luck with the APC SMT series; they’re quiet and reliable!

I used the APC BR1500G before, but the fan was really loud when it was charging. I’d be careful with that model!
