How Can I Set Up a Private Network with My Building’s WiFi?

I recently moved into a building with a password-protected WiFi network for residents. I'm looking for advice on how to set up my own router within my unit to create a separate, password-protected network that connects to the building's WiFi. Any tips or recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

You can connect your router to the building's WiFi and use it as an access point. This way, your router will create a separate network in your apartment while still being connected to the building's WiFi. Just make sure your router supports this setup!

Is this really feasible? Do you need a specific type of router for it?
