I just got two monitors and I want to use one in vertical orientation and the other in horizontal. Do I need an HDMI splitter for this setup? I'm familiar with adjusting the settings on my computer, but I'm unsure about the physical connections. What do I need to plug everything in? Are there any special connectors required?

You just need to plug both monitors directly into your PC. Depending on your setup, check if your motherboard or graphics card has the right ports—like HDMI, DisplayPort, or VGA. That way, you can connect each monitor without needing an HDMI splitter.
If you're looking for an easy solution, consider getting a USB-C hub that has video outputs. It's a great way to manage multiple monitors without needing too many separate connections.
Make sure to check if your motherboard has additional video ports (like HDMI or DisplayPort) or if your graphics card supports multiple outputs. For instance, I use a GTX 1060, where I have one monitor on the DisplayPort and the other on the DVI. That way, you can easily connect both monitors.
I'm actually new to this kind of setup. My monitor does have HDMI and DisplayPort, though. It's a Lenovo ThinkVision T24i-2L.
I'm not sure how to do that... My PC only has one HDMI input which I'm currently using. Also, I’m trying to connect it to my PlayStation too, but I need a bit more guidance.
