How can I set up dual monitors with separate displays on my Dell setup?

I'm trying to configure my two Dell Thunderbolt monitors with a Dell Thunderbolt docking station connected to my MacBook. My goal is to open different application windows on each monitor instead of having them mirrored. Currently, both screens are displaying the same application window and I can't seem to figure out how to switch them to extended displays instead.

Since you're using Tahoe 26.2 with an M2 chip, it’s definitely the right time to ensure your settings are correct. Have you tried unplugging one monitor to see how it behaves? This can help with troubleshooting.

Thanks! I tried that and it really helped. Now I can move applications between the screens without any issues.

It sounds like the issue is related to your operating system settings rather than the monitors themselves. Make sure to check your display settings and switch from mirrored displays to extended ones.
