How can I set up Family Sharing for my purchased books and TV content?

I'm in a Family Sharing group managed by my brother, and we recently updated to the latest iOS and macOS. However, we're still unable to access the books and TV shows I've purchased. I thought the updates would allow my family to see my library automatically, but that hasn't happened. Does my brother, as the organizer, need to enable something specific so we can share my purchases? Or is there anything I need to activate on my own account? We're not very tech-savvy, so I'd appreciate a straightforward explanation of how Family Sharing works for sharing bought books and TV content.

To get Family Sharing working for your purchases, you need to ensure that "Share My Purchases" is turned on in Family Sharing settings. You can start by checking Apple's support page on share purchases for detailed steps. However, if you see a message that the organizer (your brother) will pay for everything, it might mean that purchases are set to share, but only he will be billed. If you want to share costs, everyone might need their own payment methods set up. It's a little confusing, but just follow step-by-step on that support page, and it should help!

Yes, it’s tricky at first! Just make sure that all the family members have their accounts linked properly. Sometimes, just going through the settings again helps clear up any confusion.
