Hey everyone, I'm having some trouble trying to get Viber working in a situation where Software Restriction Policies (SRPs) are in place. Viber is pretty popular where I live, and many folks rely on it for business communication. However, I'm running into problems during the installation. I get an error message that states the installation is not allowed by the SRP, specifically saying: "The installation of C:Usersuser_nameAppDataLocalPackage Cache{C50A4853-BA6E-4236-89BF-189B25B7A5FA}v24.8.1.0ViberSetup.msi is not permitted by software restriction policy. The Windows Installer only allows installation of unrestricted items."
I've set up a rule in GPO for Viber SRPs which includes this Unrestricted Path rule: %localappdata%Package Cache*ViberSetup.msi. Seeing that the folder '{C50A4853-BA6E-4236-89BF-189B25B7A5FA}v24.8.1.0' should fit under the asterisk in my rule, I'm hoping for some guidance on what I might be missing. Thanks for any help!

It looks like you're encountering error messages based on your current path. You could also try this format: C:Users*AppDataLocalPackage Cache*ViberSetup.msi. That may resolve the issue!
You might want to try adjusting your path rule to this: c:users*appdatalocalpackage cache*vibersetup.msi. It should help get around the restriction you're facing.
