How Can I Silence My iPhone But Allow Calls from My Mom and Keep Alarms?

I'm dealing with a flood of telemarketing calls while trying to catch up on sleep during my night shifts. I need to find a way to mute all sounds and notifications on my iPhone, but still want to be able to receive calls from my mother and have my alarms wake me up as needed. Is there a way to set this up without missing important calls?

You can use the Sleep Focus mode on your iPhone to allow calls from specific contacts, like your mom, while silencing everything else. Just add her to the list of allowed callers in the focus settings. This way, your phone will only notify you for her calls and still ring for alarms.

In the Focus settings, you can find the Do Not Disturb option that allows you to customize notifications. Just make sure to enable the 'Allow Notifications' for the contacts you want to hear from. It'll help you avoid those spam calls!

Oh, and don't forget about the 'Silence Unknown Callers' feature. It will block most unwanted calls so you only get through calls from your contacts. If someone really needs to reach you, they'll leave a voicemail.
