I have both an iPhone and an iPad that share the same Apple ID. The problem is that when I connect a Bluetooth speaker or headphones to my iPad, it also automatically connects to my iPhone. This becomes an issue when my parents borrow my iPad and their Bluetooth speaker connects to my iPhone, even though it has never been paired. I want to be able to use my iPhone without blasting audio on their speaker. Any suggestions on how to manage this so they don't interfere with each other?

You can't completely turn off the automatic sharing of Bluetooth devices with the same Apple ID. However, you can prevent automatic connections. When you're connected to a Bluetooth device, go to your Bluetooth settings, tap the info icon next to the device, and change "Connect to this iPad" from "Automatically" to "When last connected to this iPad." This way, if your speakers or headphones are paired with your iPhone, they won't switch over unless you manually connect them.
Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a try!
