How can I stop my screen from waking up my computer in KDE?

I've been facing a frustrating issue with my KDE setup. While my computer does the expected thing of shutting down the screen after inactivity, it goes to sleep mode and then disconnects, causing it to act as if there's activity, which wakes up the computer. This is annoying because it creates a loop of my screen going to sleep and then waking the computer back up. My screens are connected to an NVIDIA GPU (GeForce GTX 1050 Ti), and I've checked the /proc/acpi/wakeup file, but it doesn't show a clear solution. Is there a way to prevent the screen inputs from waking up my system?

Have you considered turning off your monitor's built-in sleep function? Sometimes the monitor itself can trigger the wake-up, so it might help to adjust its settings.

I experienced a similar issue with my laptop waking up whenever I closed the lid. After trying various tweaks, I found that disabling all wake-up services and switching to a deeper sleep mode fixed it for me. Might be worth looking into!
