How can I switch between my laptop and PC using dual monitors?

Hey everyone! I'm struggling with my setup here. I have two monitors: the first one has 1 DisplayPort (DP) and 1 HDMI input, while the second has 1 USB-C and 1 HDMI input. Currently, both monitors are connected to my desktop PC using DP and HDMI. I also have a laptop that only has an HDMI output.

What I want to achieve is a way to easily switch between the PC and the laptop using both monitors, without having to constantly plug and unplug cables. Ideally, I'd also like to use the same mouse and keyboard for both devices without fiddling with connections. I heard about KVM switches, but I'm not sure which one would work best for my situation. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

A Dual HDMI KVM switch is exactly what you need! It allows you to connect two computers (like your PC and laptop), use two monitors, and share one keyboard and mouse. For your laptop, just grab an HDMI to USB-C adapter to connect it to the switch. Once everything's set up, you can easily switch between devices by pressing a button on the KVM. Let me know if you need help finding specific products!

You're on the right track with the KVM switch! I found a pretty good one on Amazon that's worth checking out. It should work for your setup, and it allows you to switch seamlessly between your two systems. Just make sure to connect your laptop via HDMI, and you'll be good to go! If you have any concerns about compatibility, feel free to ask!
