I recently purchased an activation key for Windows 11 Home from Microsoft, but I mistakenly have Windows 11 Pro installed. I'm having trouble figuring out how to install the Home version. Every guide I find mentions the Media Creation Tool, but it seems to default to Windows 11 Pro instead of Home. Does anyone know the right steps to take?

It seems like you're in a bit of a jam! Unfortunately, you can't directly downgrade from Pro to Home. You'll need to wipe your system and do a clean installation of Windows 11 Home.
Don't forget, the Media Creation Tool can actually create a USB installer for any version of Windows! Just make sure to use the USB to re-install and enter your Home key when prompted.
