I'm in a school district that provides Chromebooks for testing. Recently, when I try to take a locked Google Forms test on my Mac, I get a message saying I need to use one of the district-provided devices. I really want to avoid using their Chromebooks since I've just spent a lot on my Mac. Can anyone suggest a workaround or a way to resolve this?

Look, they set up the system with the Chromebooks for a reason. It's best to use what they've provided. They expect you to stick to their guidelines for testing.
Did you consult anyone at your school before buying the Mac? It might have been helpful to ask if your personal device could be used for school tests.
You might need to contact your school to get your Google account credentials. That way, you could log into Chrome and have it managed by the school. But honestly, they might not hand out that info.

I didn't ask anyone before buying it. Do you think it would have made a difference?
