I recently bought a 7700X from Amazon, and after seeing a questionable seller, I'm feeling anxious that it might be fake. Is there a way to confirm that my CPU is legitimate? I've already built my computer, installed Windows, and downloaded the drivers. Everything seems to be running smoothly, and Task Manager shows the CPU as a 7700X. Does this mean it's genuine? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You should definitely check out CPU-Z. It’s a reliable tool to verify the specs and authenticity of your CPU.
Honestly, nobody is really going to bother faking a 7700X. It’s just not worth the effort for such a specific chip.
You'd be surprised! Just adding an 'X' can bump the price significantly, so it's possible.
Does it really show if the CPU is legit?
