I have a setup with three monitors for my workstation, which works great. However, when I want to use my computer for personal activities, having all three screens can be quite annoying. For instance, when I play an old favorite game on my main screen, the mouse drifts over to the second screen, causing issues since the game uses mouse movement on the screen edges for POV adjustments.
Currently, my only options are to physically unplug the cables from my graphics card or to disable the monitor adapter through the settings, which I find cumbersome. Unplugging the cables could even damage the ports on my graphics card over time. I'm looking for a better solution, though. Is there a way to create a shortcut for quickly enabling or disabling the monitors, or perhaps a tool that allows me to make one of the screens undetectable without disconnecting anything?

Don't worry about the ports; HDMI and DisplayPort are designed for 10,000 mating cycles. Just turn off the monitor in your display settings or consider using a quick-swap application. I recommend trying Nirsoft's MultiMonitorTool; it lets you switch easily between setups.
You can try using just one monitor in your display settings. It might simplify things for you!
I couldn't find that option either. I can disable the whole monitor adapter in settings, but making a shortcut for that would save a lot of hassle!
I installed MultiMonitorTool and it looks pretty user-friendly! Do you know if I can set up a preset to switch between configurations easily, like having monitor 1 on and 2 & 3 off?
