I recently bought a second-hand Samsung 990 Evo Plus SSD, but I'm concerned about timing since my liquid cooler might not arrive soon enough for me to assemble my PC. Jawa has a 48-hour refund policy after delivery, and I want to test the SSD before it's too late. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can test it without fully installing it into a PC? Any advice would be appreciated!

You could use a USB NVMe enclosure to connect the SSD to another computer via USB. This way, you can check its health and performance with a program like CrystalDiskInfo. If you don't have another PC handy, this is definitely the simplest approach!

Do you have any specific brands that work well for this, or will any enclosure do?
