I'm struggling to find the source of these Trojan.Dropper.NSIS files that keep appearing on my laptop. They seem to come from a Temp folder and have filenames that start with 'tmp'. I've already cleaned out my main Temp folder, but I feel completely lost on where else to look. Any advice on how to dig deeper and find the root cause would be really appreciated!

Before you panic, make sure to double-check the file. Sometimes those alerts are just pattern detections and not actually a threat. You might want to look at this site for potential false positives. Just stay cautious.
Have you checked if you have any unusual software installed, like fancontrol? That could potentially be causing the issue. Just some advice to investigate further.
It sounds like you've made a smart move by installing Malwarebytes, but keep in mind that it typically only catches files after they're installed. It might be a good idea to look into other malware detection tools or strategies to identify the source before the files get installed.
