I think one of my RAM sticks isn't functioning properly. When I boot my PC with both installed, nothing shows up on the screen. However, it works fine when I use only one stick. Since my PC is only about eight months old, is there a way to fix the faulty RAM rather than spending $120-$150 on a new 16GB DDR5 stick?

Have you tested each RAM stick on its own? Make sure they’re the same brand, as sometimes compatibility issues can arise. If both sticks work individually but not together, the issue might actually be with your motherboard.
You could try cleaning the copper contacts of the RAM sticks with a microfiber cloth and some isopropyl alcohol. However, if there’s a deeper mechanical issue with the chip itself, fixing it at home isn't practical. It's probably best to either use your warranty or look into getting a new one.
Repairing RAM is tricky. If a small component on the RAM is damaged, it's technically fixable but usually not worth the hassle or cost. Plus, DDR5 prices are through the roof right now! You should definitely check if it's still under warranty; contacting the manufacturer is your best bet for a replacement.
