I've noticed that the Zebra ZT231 printers on my jobsite are due for a firmware update, but I can't seem to find clear instructions for this specific model. I've updated other models like the ZT230s and S4Ms pretty easily, but this one is tricky. I read somewhere that updates can be done using a USB drive, but I keep hitting dead ends when I click for more information, even getting 404 errors on some pages. Does anyone have any tips or steps to successfully update the firmware on the ZT231?

You're definitely not alone; I've struggled with firmware updates too. For the ZT231, the process usually involves downloading the firmware files from Zebra's website and then transferring them via USB. If you're hitting a 404, try checking their support community for possible mirrors of the files.
Have you tried looking at the Zebra support site? It can be a bit of a maze, but they often have the firmware files you'll need. Unfortunately, some users mentioned that you might need to buy Zebra support for in-depth assistance, which can be a bummer.
That's useful to know! I wasn't aware they might require support for certain updates. I'll check their site more thoroughly.
Thanks for the tip! I'll give that a shot and see if I can find anything that works.
