How can I upgrade my MSI GF65 Thin to Windows 11 when it says I don’t meet the requirements?

I'm trying to upgrade my MSI GF65 Thin 9SD from Windows 10 to Windows 11 because Windows 10 is nearing its End of Service. The Windows Update initially let me click on the "Download and install" option, and it got to about 8% before a message popped up saying, 'This PC doesn't currently meet Windows 11 system requirements. The PC must support TPM 2.0.' Has anyone experienced this issue before? What steps can I take to fix it and successfully upgrade? I'm really concerned about losing my data in the process! Here are my device specs: Intel i5-9300H, 16GB RAM, 477GB SSD, and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti graphics card. I would appreciate any help!

If you're still having trouble, there's a risky workaround you can try. Some people have run a script to bypass certain security requirements for the Windows 11 upgrade. Just be sure to do this at your own risk; it might not fix everything. The detailed solution is available in this link: [bypass windows 11 security requirements](https://onlinecomputertips.com/support-categories/windows/bypass-windows-11-security-requirements-for-upgrade/). You could also use Rufus to create a bootable flash drive with Windows 11 if you decide to go that route!

As a safety reminder, always back up your data before making any changes to your system, especially when messing with BIOS settings or trying to upgrade your OS. It's better to be safe than sorry!

First off, check your BIOS settings! You'll want to make sure that TPM 1.2/2 is enabled. Sometimes it's tucked away in the 'Trusted Computing' section. If you find that it's already enabled but you're still running into issues, don't worry just yet!

I had the same issue. I found that even though TPM was enabled, I still had to save changes and exit for it to take effect. Just a little tip!
