How Can I Upgrade My Old PC on a Budget?

Hey everyone! Recently, a friend did a hardware survey of our gaming group, and I ended up in 11th place out of 14! I'm looking to modernize my PC without breaking the bank. I'm just trying to get some advice on what upgrades I should prioritize. My main goal is to improve graphics and performance for gaming and art, especially since I'm starting to learn Blender. I want to be able to play 3D games at a decent quality without everything looking low-res, like how Baldur's Gate 3 looks for me right now. My current setup is a Ryzen 7 1700X, a GTX 1060 6GB, and 32GB of DDR4-2133 RAM, but it's starting to feel outdated. I don't need cutting-edge parts; I just want to get better quality without hitting the lowest settings. Also, since I'm a total newbie when it comes to hardware upgrades, I appreciate any help you can offer!

To get started, I'd suggest upgrading to either a Ryzen 7 5700 or 5800X along with an RX 6700 XT. That combo should give you a solid boost. Since you mentioned not having a strict budget, aiming for under a thousand bucks sounds reasonable!
