Hey everyone! I'm trying to stream some movies on my TV, but I've run into a bit of trouble. I originally used screen sharing through Firefox, but the video quality was really poor on the TV, with a lot of lag and skipped frames. So I switched to using an HDMI cable to connect my laptop directly to the TV. The TV shows my desktop perfectly fine, but when I try to open a movie in Firefox, nothing shows up on the TV—just my desktop. I'm using Windows 11, and I'm not sure how to get that tab to display on the TV. Any tips?

Actually, that’s a common thing when using an HDMI cable. Your TV is acting as a second monitor. You can just click and drag the Firefox window to the edge of your screen until it appears on the TV. If you want to mirror the internal screen instead, that option might be in your TV’s settings.
It sounds like you're in extended display mode instead of mirrored mode. Press Win + P to switch it over to duplicate mode, and your Firefox tab should show up on the TV! What model TV are you using?
Also, just a tip for any presentations or similar setups, always remember the Win + P shortcut. It’s super handy for switching between display modes!

Omg thank you, that fixed the issue! I'm sorry it was a stupid question; I've never used these settings before. Just so you know, the TV is a VIDAA.
