I'm having issues with my Microsoft account and it's driving me crazy. I used to log in just fine, but now it's asking for a key from my physical drive or a passkey, which doesn't always work. Plus, I keep getting messages saying "Password manager is not available." I'm not a fan of Microsoft services anyway and just want to use my Windows computer without a Microsoft account. Is there a way to disable or completely remove the Microsoft account requirement? I'd prefer to log in using a local password without any Microsoft online prompts.

You can try using the 'netplwiz' method. Just hit Start, run `netplwiz`, and add a local user account. That should help you get around the Microsoft account issue.
Check out this guide on how to install Windows 11 without a Microsoft account. The second option is usually the best, just keep in mind that you might need a fresh installation to do this. It's a bit of a hassle since Microsoft makes it complicated.

Do I really have to do a fresh install?
