I have a customer who's really in a bind—they received a security email recently but couldn't log in to verify their account. Now their account is locked, and on top of that, all the DNS records are gone, so they're not able to receive any emails for verification. I'm stuck because I can't open a support ticket for them since their account is locked. Can anyone guide me on how to get their account verified and restored? It feels like there's no way around this, and I just want to help them get back in service as they're approaching day three without access.

Sorry to hear about your customer's situation! They should try visiting the AWS Support Center at http://go.aws/support-center. Even if the account is locked, they can still access it. If they have their case ID handy, they can share that with AWS support for quicker assistance. Just remember, only the account owner can discuss the account details with support. Hope this helps!
I get how frustrating this must be! Have you tried asking your customer to check if they can still access their account? Sometimes even locked accounts can be accessed through the support center, and he can submit a request there. Unfortunately, the account owner will need to follow through since support can't provide info to anyone else.
