I've been using my friend's laptop for gaming (mainly Avatar and COD), but I'm ready to build my own PC. The whole process seems overwhelming, and I'm not very knowledgeable about the components. Here's what I have so far:
- AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (CPU)
- Arctic Liquid Pro 360 ARGB (CPU cooler)
- Asus B650E Max (motherboard)
- Patriot Viper Elite 5 16 GB (RAM)
- Samsung 990 Pro 2TB (SSD)
I'm really lost when it comes to choosing a GPU. I want a machine that performs well without lags but isn't too costly. I don't game as much as some others, so good performance and picture quality at a decent resolution are key for me. I want to be able to upgrade in the future and I've chosen Ryzen based on my friend's recommendation. I'm open to investing a bit more in the CPU if it makes a difference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Your build looks solid so far! I suggest going for a GeForce RTX 4070 Super for great 1440p gaming without emptying your wallet. It pairs really well with your Ryzen 7 7800X3D and should give you the performance you’re looking for.
Just to help you with picking a GPU, I've got a few questions: 1. What’s your budget? 2. Where are you located? 3. What resolution will your monitor be? 4. What types of games do you plan to play? 5. How much performance do you need? This info would really narrow down your options!

These are the components I want to get:
1. Budget is between $900-$1100.
2. I'm in Bayern.
3. I haven't chosen a monitor yet.
4. I plan to play Avatar: Ways of Pandora, COD, Minecraft, and possibly others.
5. What do you mean by performance level?
