I've been having a lot of trouble with Microsoft OneDrive. I disabled it a while back because it was messing with my storage. However, I've noticed that some files are still being directed to a "OneDrive" folder located under "Users > myname > OneDrive". This folder contains my "AppData", "Desktop", "Documents", and "Pictures" folders. I'm particularly worried about the Documents folder since my Premiere Pro files are saving there, which is what caused the original storage issues. I have two questions: 1. Can I still use my desktop without OneDrive? It seems everything saves there automatically. 2. If I move all the files from the OneDrive folder on my hard drive, will that solve the problem, or will they just come back? I just want to be done with OneDrive for good!

It sounds like your default save locations are still set to OneDrive, which is why everything is saving there. Windows can be tricky like that! Even if you move the files out, new ones might still end up back in OneDrive unless you change the save settings. My advice is to first check your save settings on Premiere Pro and make sure they point to a different folder. Also, if you haven't already, back up your data before you uninstall OneDrive—just to be safe. It'll probably remove the folder issue if you set things up right!
I uninstalled OneDrive before and lost all my desktop files, including my editing assets. Can I set a different location for where my files save automatically?
