How Do I Connect My AIO Cooler with AM5 Socket?

I'm currently doing a test assembly on my motherboard box before putting everything into the case, and I'm having trouble with my Artic Freezer II 420 AIO cooler. I've attached three brackets but I'm stuck on how to connect the pump to the cooler. It seems like I can't reach the bottom of the brackets to screw into the cooler itself. Do I need to remove the brackets, attach them to the cooler first, and then reattach everything to the CPU? Any tips would be appreciated!

Have you checked the manual for your AIO cooler? It's easy to overlook, but it could have the instructions you need.

It sounds like you may have the wrong bracket configuration. The brackets you see on the motherboard should actually be attached to the AIO itself. You can find the right setup in the manual here: https://support.arctic.de/lf2-240r4.

Thanks for the insight! I don’t have another PC to check with, and after going through the instructions, it looks like the holes don’t line up right. I added some spacers and adjusted the brackets, but the cooler still seems like it can't reach both sides. It's like it’s too short to hook on properly.
