I have this really large file on my laptop that has a .crdownload extension. It's showing as 16 GB, but when I try to compress it into a zip folder to delete it, it tells me that the folder is empty. What should I do to get rid of it?

Sounds like that crdownload file is just a failed download. You should be able to delete it directly. If you get an error saying you can't delete, try ending the download in the program you used to download it.
Yeah, it's definitely an incomplete download. Closing your browser first and then trying to delete it should do the trick. Not sure compressing it is even necessary.
Honestly, I'm not sure why you even need to compress it. Just delete it! It's not going to work anyway since it's an incomplete file.
If you want to do something with that file, try resuming the download from your browser. Once it finishes, the crdownload file should convert to the actual file, but you can just delete it instead.
