How Do I Get Rid of Ants Inside My Monitor?

I recently purchased a Lenovo Legion R24e monitor for around ₹10,500 from Amazon, and after just three weeks of use, I've discovered ants crawling between the screen panel. There are even dead ants and remnants inside! This is my first high-refresh-rate monitor upgrade, moving from a laptop to a new PC setup (Ryzen 5 3600 + RX 6600 XT), and I'm really not sure how to deal with this situation. Any suggestions?

Haha, it's definitely a strange problem to have! But really, those ants probably found a cozy spot. Just a heads-up, if you want a bit of humor—maybe try adding some green ants for the 'RGB' effect! Seriously though, you might want to focus on cleaning it out if you can.

If you were playing Valorant, maybe the game’s sheer intensity attracted them! But in all seriousness, you need to sort this out before it gets worse. Just take care of it carefully so you don’t end up damaging your new setup.

This sub is more about tech, but for any pest issues you might want to check out a pest control forum. They could provide some specific tips on how to handle bugs in electronic devices.

Sounds like you've got quite the situation there! First off, take the monitor outside. Look up a disassembly guide for your monitor model; there are usually good YouTube videos that can walk you through the steps. Once you have it open, you can clean the insides with rubbing alcohol and some mineral water. Just be careful not to break the screen while you’re at it!
