Hey everyone! I'm in a bit of a jam since I moved and can't get my PC connected to the internet via a wired connection to the router. I have an Asus Prime B450M-A II DDR4 Micro ATX motherboard. I'm totally new to this, but I don't see where I can install a WiFi card. The ones I found for sale have a metal strip, and it looks like they should fit into some external slots on the left side of my motherboard, right under the fan. Can someone explain how I can add a WiFi card? Thanks a lot!

You can use the PCIe x1 slot on your motherboard for the WiFi card. On your Asus Prime B450M-A II, there’s a small slot right below your GPU. I’ve got a Gigabyte GC-WBAX210 WiFi card (WiFi 6E) in my PC, and it works perfectly. If you’re worried about space, USB WiFi dongles are also a solid option and are easy to set up if your GPU takes up too much room for a card.

Do you mean this slot here? [https://imgur.com/a/AklHZ88](https://imgur.com/a/AklHZ88)

Honestly, a USB WiFi dongle might be the best way to go. They offer a lot of convenience and can save you some hassle with installation, especially if you're unsure about fitting a card inside your case.
