I'm working with an older CyberPower PR2200LCD UPS, and I'm trying to replace the batteries after years of use. Usually, this is a straightforward process for me, but I'm having a tough time with this model. The plastic pull tab broke off while I was trying to pull the battery out, and now it only moves about 1-2 cm. I can't reach the wires to disconnect the battery, and it seems like the heavy size of the batteries (RB12170X4) is making it harder to maneuver them out. I can move the battery slightly in its bracket, but it definitely won't come out. The front side looks clean, and there's no stickiness, so I'm really at a loss here. Any tips or tricks would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried using suction cups or raised floor panel pullers? They can work wonders if the batteries aren't too swollen.
You could also give the UPS a good shake upside down. Sometimes that can help dislodge stubborn batteries. Just make sure to do it gently!
Honestly, if you really can't get the batteries out and they're swollen, it might be best to just replace the whole unit. It could save you a lot of time and effort in the long run!
You might try using a flat blade screwdriver on both sides to gently pry the battery out. It could take a bit of time, but it should work eventually. I've had to do this with similar stuck batteries before!
If the pull tab is broken, you could glue something onto the front that you can use to pull it out, giving the glue time to set before trying again. Just make sure it's secure!
Definitely! Just be careful not to damage anything as you pry it out—you don't want to make the issue worse!
