I'm an amateur when it comes to PC building and I need some guidance on how to remove the barriers at the back of my Dell Optiplex 790 where the GPU would be installed. Any tips would be appreciated!

If you're struggling with how much to lift that tab or if you should press down, just lift it gently. Make sure you're not forcing it. It should pop up without too much effort!
To get those metal barriers off, you just need to lift the metal tab that has a blue square on it. Once you do that, the slot covers should become loose and you can easily remove them.
