I recently created a Linux installation USB on my Windows 11 system, and now I can't format it because it says the disk is write protected. I need to use this USB for extended storage on an older laptop, so I'm looking for a way to fix this issue. Any suggestions?

Another easy method is to use Rufus and reformat your USB as 'unbootable'. This might help you get it ready for regular use again!
You can try using the diskpart tool to wipe it and then format it again. Just be cautious with the commands, as it can erase data on other drives if you're not careful!
