I watched a video suggesting I tweak my network adapter settings to improve my ping, but it actually made it worse. I only changed the settings for the 'family controller' in Device Manager. I'm looking for advice on what the default settings are along the entire list so I can revert my changes. Should I disable or enable specific options in the advanced tab? Any help would be appreciated!

Each network adapter has different settings, so results can vary. To revert to default settings, you can uninstall the device, but make sure not to check the box to delete the drivers. After uninstalling, just click the detect button to let Windows reinstall the device automatically. That should restore your settings back to what they were originally.
What do you mean by the detect button? I'm not very good with computers.
