I'm having trouble removing my M.2 SSD. It doesn't have a screw at the top, and I've read that it might be a tool-less design. The SSD is small and rectangular, but it seems to be improperly secured, which could be why my PC won't boot past the BIOS. I've tried twisting it to the right, but there's a plastic piece preventing leftward movement. Pressing down makes a clicking sound and moves it slightly further away from the motherboard, but it still won't release. I can only move it side to side a bit, and pulling it out doesn't work either. I could really use some help here!

To detach your M.2 SSD, first, you need to pull out the black rubber piece on the motherboard. Once that's out, the SSD should lift slightly, allowing you to remove it. However, before proceeding, I'd recommend double-checking for any other troubleshooting steps since your SSD might be encrypted, especially if you're using Windows.
No worries! If you can, share a picture of your setup. It really helps to see what we're working with here. Knowing your motherboard model can make a big difference too!
