How do I Set Up Dynamic Groups for Business Premium Users?

I'm trying to streamline our licensing by doing bulk updates for users who currently have Business Premium. Specifically, I need to add Entra ID P2 licenses for these users. I attempted to create a query for this but ran into an error when I tried to validate the rules, saying "Unable to complete due to service connection error. Try again later." My query looks something like this: (User.assignedPlans -eq (assignedPlan.ServicePlanID -eq "Service plan ID") ), and I'll reference the service plan ID using the documentation provided. I've also checked my Azure portal for subscription ID, but I'm still hitting roadblocks. Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

If you're trying to assign Entra ID P2 to users already on Business Premium, there's a catch. You need to remove Entra ID P1 from those users first to prevent assignment conflicts, since you can't assign the same feature twice. Make sure you handle that before creating your dynamic group!

I totally get that, but I'm struggling to even create a dynamic group that includes all business premium users. Every time I try, it fails without a clear reason.

While I can't provide a direct solution, consider leveraging dynamic groups for license assignments. This approach will help organize your users more effectively and streamline the assignment process. If you set everything up correctly, it could simplify your licensing woes significantly!

That's exactly what I'm aiming for. We had a chaotic licensing hierarchy with multiple plans and services. Moving everyone to Business Premium was a step toward a more organized setup. Now, I just need to nail down those dynamic groups, but every attempt seems to be a dead end.
