I'm trying to install Windows on my Dell XPS M1730 laptop, but I'm getting a message requesting to change the BIOS setting from Legacy to UEFI. This laptop runs on the Dell A11 BIOS version, and I've looked everywhere online for a solution but haven't had any luck. Can anyone help me figure this out?

Do you know the exact specs of your laptop? If it's got a Core 2 Duo and only 4GB of RAM, that confirms it's quite an old model. Sadly, laptops from that era generally can't switch to UEFI.

Yeah, it has a 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo and 4GB RAM. Guess I’ll have to stick with Legacy then.

It sounds like you're dealing with a vintage model there! The XPS M1730 is around 2007, and unfortunately, it doesn't support UEFI since it's an older BIOS. You might be stuck in Legacy mode for any installations.
